This is a completed certificate of translation accuracy from a real USCIS filing: a one-page Spanish document translated into English (US). Under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3), every foreign-language document sent to USCIS needs a full English translation. The translator must certify that the translation is complete and accurate, and that they are competent to translate from that language into English. This certificate meets both requirements.

What USCIS looks for, and where it is on the sample:

• The full English translation, attached to the certificate
• A statement that the translation is complete and accurate
• The translator’s competence in the language pair (Spanish – English)
• The translator’s name, signature, address and phone number
• The date of certification

USCIS does not require notarization or an ATA-certified translator. Submit a copy of the original document, the English translation and this certificate together.
